End of Life Care

Because we love our pets, it is hard to say goodbye. We understand that the decision to relieve a pet’s suffering through humane euthanasia is a difficult decision. To provide a private, peaceful experience for our patients at the end of life, we have a private entrance and private room for a family to say goodbye to their pet. Our pet families are allowed to take as much time as they need to say goodbye. While a pet is passing over the Rainbow Bridge, we light a candle. We provide the family with a printed set of footprints to take home. Or, we can produce a clay memorial pawprint for you. Families are provided with the option to take their pets home for a home burial or have their pets cremated. You can elect to do a private or communal cremation. A private cremation is having your pet cremated by itself and its ashes returned in an urn. A communal cremation is having your pet cremated along with others and therefore not receiving any ashes. Please call if you need any further information.
